Consignment Guidelines

  • Items must be in "like new" condition, current styles that are in demand.

  • Clothing must be laundered and wrinkle free. No holes or stained clothing will be accepted.

  • Items with smoke or other strong odors will not be accepted.

  • Leather items must be cleaned and free of mildew and dry rot.

  • Boots must be polished with working zippers. Soles and heels must be in excellent condition.

  • Helmets must have ASTM safety approval and be cleaned.

  • Blankets must be laundered with no tears or holes.

  • Please do not take offense if we find it necessary to say no to some of your items, we rely on past and present experience of what sells to make our selection.

  • The consignor receives 60% of the selling price after the item has sold.

  • The consignor receives 75% of the selling price after their saddle has sold.

  • Checks will be sent out once a month. Checks are mailed to the address on file for items sold the previous month.

  • Items that are not sold within the 12 months will be considered the property of On Course Consignment and may be donated to a charity that benefits our local community.

  • 50% of donated items selling price will be given to the Equestrian Aids Foundation.

  • All items priced at $2 or under will be considered donations.

  • Due to health regulations we cannot take used buckets, feed tubs or brushes. We will give these items to charity horse organizations if you leave them.

  • The consignor retains ownership of any items consigned until the items sell, and may collect an item within a 12 month period.

  • We do allow items to be dropped off, however, the consignor must sign the Consignment Form giving On Course the autority to prce items as we see fit and donate any items we feel we cannot sell.
